16 OZ Calcium Bentonite Clay

Deeply rooted in my heart is a love for clay; as an art medium, I have worked with it for many years. Excitedly, I am now able to introduce one of my favorite clays - a White Calcium Bentonite sourced from the deserts of Southern Nevada. Bentonite, known for its detoxifying and cleansing properties, has been utilized for centuries. It is an incredibly versatile and potent ingredient in the realm of skincare, a fundamental building block for DIY beauty. Embrace the power of clay and let it work its magic on your skin!

Here are some simple recipes to get you started:

Facial Mask - Combine 1 tablespoon of clay with 2 tablespoons of water, apple cider vinegar, or your choice of liquid to create a paste. Apply generously to your face and/or neck, avoiding contact with your eyes. Leave it on for 10 minutes or until it dries. Gently remove the mask with a warm, damp washcloth, then rinse your face and pat dry with a towel.

Soothing Bath - Add 1-2 cups of clay to your bath water, along with a few drops of lavender essential oil. Relax in the bath for 15-20 minutes, enjoying the smooth and refreshed feeling it leaves on your skin.

Hair Mask - Mix one cup of water or aloe vera juice with 1/2 cup of apple cider vinegar. Stir well and apply to your hair for a nourishing mask.
